A Casual Spring Look

Hi yall! Last weekend we took the kids to the skating rink. Triston was so excited since it was his first time learning how to roller skate. At first Triston was really irritated because he kept falling, but he was off to the races once we switched out the skates for trainer skates. Channing loved watching her bubba and cousins skate. She would laugh and wave at us going by. Can a mom be a big kid…I mean why now?! I can honestly say I sure felt like a big kid skating and it bought back memories from elementary school. All in all Triston’s 1st skating trip was a success!

Since these spring temps are so unpredictable I always have a cardi, poncho or light jacket since it can turn cold in a matter of minutes. Not just outside, but even the movie theater and skating rinks are just as cold. This is the perfect casual outfit for a fun day at the skating rink and the park. When I got hot I took off this cute and soft poncho. I love the neutral colors since it blends well with almost anything. This tee is a great go-to tank to throw on. It’s not see through and has a scooped neckline. Also, it sure helps when it’s under $20! And can we talk about Channing’s dress?!? I love this preppy, but feminine look. The ruffles on the bottom of the dress is seriously my favorite part. Her sterling silver bracelet has her initials monogrammed on it. She’s worn it since she was born and it still fits perfectly. I wanted a piece that she could keep forever and one day when she has kids, she could pass it onto them. A special a timeless piece. They also come in adult sizes too. Well, enjoy your weekend! Much love, Sue
