How I Pick A Flexible Piece

Hi y’all! Sharing my FAVORITE cardi today. I usually opt for the practical in price option, but this was sooooooo worth it. If I love it, I always wait a few days to see if it is really worth it and I think about these 4 things…how often will I wear it, how many outfits in my closet can I mix & match it with, is it a flexible piece and with the price, is it worth it?

When I shop, I literally picture my wardrobe in my head and see how many outfits I can wear with the item I want. I finally threw out the option that I need this and that because it’s on sale. I can’t tell you how many times I had an item in my closet with the tag STILL ON just because I bought it on sale or because I thought a random piece was just really cute. Not to mention it only made 1 outfit that I might not even wear again. Money doesn’t grow on trees for my family, so I have to be selective on what will work and keep in mind that it needs to be a flexible piece.

This all came about after I had my son 5 years ago. I had to get rid of most of my wardrobe because my body changed after losing all the baby weight. From that moment on…I started filling my closet with outfits I can transition into for more than just this season’s trend and into multiple outfits. Hope you like this look! Much love, Sue

Great tips! The sale items always suck me in but I'll keep this in mind before I buy next time.

So true Sue! As mother's our bodies don't always go back to the way we were used to. So if we are going to start our wardrobe over, we may as well start with a new mindset too. Affordable pieces that work for our bodies, and are affordable, functional, & "Stylish". THANKS SUE! ??
