Running through the finish line.

As I mentioned before…I LOVE leather leggings. I wore this to the park with the kiddos and then we had a birthday party today. This was not only functional, but it’s really comfortable. I was able to run errands, help Channing try to walk and even play Laser Tag with my hubby and son. We had so much fun running through the obstacle course and Triston thought it was hilarious that his Laser Tag name was “The Megatron.” Who knew I was going to get a workout at the birthday party.

Also, I have to mention, I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes. I literally have 3 pair. I ran a half marathon in each pair. I was 13 weeks pregnant with Channing when I ran my last half marathon. Seriously…WHAT WAS I THINKING?!? I mean… I love to run, and my doctor said it’s perfectly okay to do it, but I just needed to stay hydrated. So, ran the course in Austin…yes people…THE HILL COUNTRY. That truly was the hardest course I have ever run. Up and down, up and down, up up and away. I literally cried tears of joy when I passed the finish line. So, if you are looking for a cheaper pair of good running shoes…THESE ARE IT! Much love, Sue

My sister and I completed the Zooma half marathon in Austin, TX. I came in 50th place out of my division with a time of 2 hours 45 minutes. This was my 3rd half marathon and by far the hardest. Apparently it is known that this is a challenging course which my sister and I didn’t know. There is a 1,100 foot elevation gain over the course of 13.1 miles. The hills are very steep the entire time (except for the last 3 miles). I literally started to cry once I crossed the finish line since I didn’t think I could do it. Although it was challenging, the run was gorgeous and my sister and I had fun.

My munchkin was so excited to see his mommy run across the finish line, he ran through the finish line as well.
