Sunscreen Must Haves

Top // Cardigan // Shorts

Hi y’all! It’s that time of year that the suns out in full force and I wanted to share a few products that will help keep your skin protected throughout the Spring & Summer months that you can pack for your upcoming beach trip!

I’ve shared several times about having skin cancer a few years ago & how thankful I am for those challenging years because it has made more aware of the sun and why it’s so important to stay protected daily.

1. Coola sunscreen is a MUST!!! I put this SPF50 sunscreen on my face all year long. I put moisturizer on my face prior to applying the Coola sunscreen.  This is great to workout in and it does not leave your skin greasy. I apply makeup after the light weight sunscreen is applied.

2. Coola hair mist sunscreen is a must that you can spray on your scalp to keep you head from being sunburned if you don’t wear a hat on the beach or at the pool.

3. This $10 Coola sunscreen HERE is the sunscreen I use on my kids & me. I love this sunscreen not only since it helps your stay protected, but because it doesn’t leave your skin sticky after applying. Also, it helps that the sunscreen is affordable. It comes in 2 scents Pina Colada & Tropical Coconut.

 4. This tinted SPF30 lip balm is SO worth it! My lips are allergic to the sun…I know, pretty rare and I always have Coola Lip Balm on hand. It comes in multiple colors too.

All these products are available at Nordstrom and have FREE SHIPPING!!!

These are also a few other must haves to pack in your luggage for your beach trip.

I would also encourage you if you haven’t had your skin check in a year, please, get your skin checked by your local dermatologist. Who knows where I’d be if my bestie didn’t encourage me to go a few years ago. Most of the checkup is covered by your insurance. And remember…my melanoma didn’t look like a typical melanoma spot…it looked like a normal freckle. My dermatologist didn’t even think it was anything, but wanted he verify to make sure. I hope this encourages you to stay protected from the sun. Even when it’s overcast you can get burned. And that suntan you will have for less than 7 days isn’t worth it. I can attest to that.

Thanks Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are of my own.
