Transitioning to fall

I have to say this is such a comfy outfit. I need
practical, functional and comfortable since I’m still toting my
little princesses around and weaning off of nursing.

So, I have been nursing my daughter all year. I
am trying to stop and I ‘m finally down to only 2 pumping sessions a day!
But I have to be honest…I really didn’t like nursing. I mean, I
love being able to give my daughter all the nutrients she needs from me… BUT
pumping 5 times a day, having to remove yourself
from lunch, leave a in the middle of a meeting, figuring out where in the airport I am going to be able to pump (when NO OUTLETS WORK…let me tell ya, that was fun) and figuring out how to pump when I am on the
road just felt like another job. Boy was it hard after getting mastitis
twice, once being when Channing was 7 days old and the most recent was at the beach when she was 8
months old. Fast forward to now and I can’t believe I have been so
emotional just by removing each pumping session. I mean, you would think I
would be jumping for joy! I’m really almost attached to it. I
literally cried when I removed my 2nd pumping session. I remember I felt
the same way when I was stopped with Triston 4 years ago. Well, the end is near
and I will be onto a new milestone. I never thought I would say this, but
I’m definitely enjoying the last few pumping sessions each day before I retire
that old pumping machine that is stuck to my side 24-7.

Ok, next subject… let’s talk about these shoes!!! These Nine West shoes
are normally $90 and they are on sale at Macy’s right now for $33! They
are so comfy and work for me being a mommy on the go. Also, I use this hat year
round and it’s only $15! Keep a lookout for other ideas how to mix and
match these pieces. Much love, Sue

I just started weaning Tony on Sunday. SO bittersweet. Go you for pumping and sticking with it through mastitis TWICE! Cute outfit 🙂

Thanks girl! Yes, it really is bittersweet! Congrats to you for keeping it up. Nursing really was blood, sweat and tears for me. Have a great week!
